MAX-LIFT
Max-Lift is a sealed, gas filled pressure cylinder that exerts an outward force. This force acts like a spring to lift and hold open hatches, bonnets and boots. An exact replacement fit for most applications.
Product Features:
STRUTS
Heavy-duty construction and unique design features make the Monroe® Strut-Mate® boot kit the quality choice for maximum rod protection and improved strut life.
Damaged boots may not protect the rod finish. A pitted piston rod can lead to premature strut failure. Deteriorated OE bumpers may not offer adequate protection from severe suspension movement, leading to premature strut failure.
Tie-Strap: Secures new boot to strut housing. Self Draining Design: Eliminates retention of moisture and other unwanted contaminants. Boot: Provides rod protection from rust and corrosion enhancing service life. Unique Boot Bumper Attachment Method: Simplifies installation. Soft Entry Jounce Bumper: Constructed of highest quality closed cell micro-cellular urethane for maximum durability, helps prevent severe impacts.
STEERING DAMPERS
Absorbs steering shock and vibration caused by road irregularities - cracks, corrugations, holes, rocks and wheel tracks. Ideal for use on 4x4 and commercial vehicles.
BUMPSTOPS/STRUT MATE
Too often a new strut or cartridge is fitted with the old original and damaged suspension travel limit bushing (compression bumper) and dust boot.
The Monroe Strut Mate kit includes a high quality, soft entry urethane compression bumper, a new dust boot, retaining strap and fitting instructions.
GAS MAGNUM TRUCK
The Monroe® Gas Magnum® truck shock absorber is designed for mid to full size, hard working pick-up trucks and vans. These units provide firm control without a harsh ride. With up to twice the fluid capacity of standard 1" bore shocks, Monroe Gas Magnum truck shocks work more efficiently with less effort.
All Weather Fluid: Contains special modifiers to reduce friction and ensure smooth rod reaction. Full Displaced Valving: Better valving range on both the compression and extension cycles of the unit for a smooth comfortable ride. Sintered Iron Piston: Stronger than traditional metals, enhances durability for longer service life. Nitrogen Gas Charged: For improved ride and handling, helps maintain tire to road contact by reducing aeration. 2" Reserve Tube: More fluid for more consistent performance. 1-3/8" Bore: Lower operating pressure than standard 1" bore units. 5/8" Piston Rod: Heavy-duty nitrocarburized rod* for long service life. Special Seal: "Self-lubricating" fluid seal designed to retain gas without excessive wear or friction.
*On non-dust shield units only.
